I watched the auditions of American Idol Season 8 last night. It will start airing on QTV-11 on Wednesdays at 8pm. As expected, auditions were wacky with contestants desperately seeking to be the next idol. They welcomed a new judge: Kara DioGuardi, a record producer and a singer. I think she critiques also like Simon than Paula so it is as if nothing has changed.
Here’s what to expect on the American Idol madness: Top 36 Semi-Finalists Revealed Wednesday, February 11; Voting Begins Tuesday, February 17; Top 12 Singers Revealed After Judges' Wild Card Round Thursday, March 5 and Top 12 Finalists will Perform for the First Time Tuesday, March 10.

We wanted to watch this movie “Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat”in the big screen last year pero di natuloy. Hubby bought some DVD movies and we completely forgot about the movie of Ai-Ai Delas Alas.

I'm not really a fanatic when it comes to watching this show but I get interested when Filipino contestants become part of it.I like the auditions because this is the part where you get to see the craziness of some while others are really passionate.
Miss Universe 2008 Winner
Miss Venezuela Dayana Mendoza, 22 is the newly crowned Miss Universe 2008 winner.The crown was handed down by last year’s winner Riyo Mori of Japan.
The beauties who made it to the Top 4 are Miss Columbia Taliana Vargas, 1st runner up; 2nd runner up Miss Dominican Republic Marianne Cruz Gonzalez . The 3rd runner up is Miss Russia Vera Krasova and 4th runner up position went to Miss Mexico Elisa Najera.
