I just discovered LimeWire today while I was skimming the net for background music for a file. LimeWire is a fast and advance file sharing program and it’s free of spyware, adware or any bundled software. There’s a rich collection of songs from different users and I don’t want to be careless – it may be a source for viruses. I’d be wary for files with a .exe or .vbs since they are more likely to be viruses. It’s a good idea to really scan the files muna.
They have a free version, LimeWire Basic and the enhanced version Lime Wire PRO in which you have to purchase at $21.95. So I downloaded their freeware which consumed about 4.7mb of my computer space. The software cannot run unless I install Java with it.It was really that fast, syempre, broadband. LimeWire has also a built-in player with a playlist so you can listen to your mp3 files. If you want to use the player, just go to Options, under the Tools menu item and then just press Player. LimeWire will automatically create a folder where the songs are saved and since this morning I’ve been downloading the albums of Jamie Foxx and some lounge music.

Vanished Movie
I had a very disappointing experience a couple of days ago while I was working on a movie about a disease. I took passion to the next level and very sure I could finish it before our travel to
Stupid joke!!!
Sluggish Power Director
I have installed the program Cyberlink Power Director in my computer last week and it is far better than WMM in terms of video effects and transitions. I still haven’t gotten to the editing part because I need to label what pictures should go with what document. I was right about keeping my enthusiasm under control because I was asked to accompany a senior colleague to the Sangguniang Panglunsod to listen to a hearing that day.
I was (un) pleasantly surprised. I bet I won’t finish this sluggishly sluggish movie as expected. It was my first time though to witness a hearing. And I thought all meetings should be like that. The speakers were direct to the point and only tackled the issue at hand. No ad libs.
It was presided by Councilor Peter Laviña. Been reading his blogs but my first time to see him too in person. I regret I didn't bring my camera that time. Councilor Baluran was there too. We live in the same subdivision here in Dumoy. The "kapuso" and "kapamilya" stations were also there.I'm embarrassed to see Stephen Manangan from ABS-CBN. Every time I see him, I remember how our laptop was acting up when the office had a presentation about Animal raising in Felis Beach resort. There were lot of eager participants watching the presentation but our laptop keeps on rebooting. The place was wide but there weren't enough ventilation. So what do you expect? The temperature was quite oppressive to the laptop. Any device or equipment will run properly if all components have a cooling system. Old Acer will agree.
Anyway, I appreciate the events that transpired today but I still hate to be part of meetings where I don't have an input or where I feel my productivity is wasted.

Cyberlink
After failed attempt of downloading “free” video transitions and effects for Windows Movie Maker, I finally decided that I go look for other programs.
I’m not about to list all other movie making programs here. I got to peek from someone else’s laptop, and he’s got Cyberlink DVD Suite, I immediately ask him to see if there’s a hidden installer so I can make a copy. He said none but he can borrow it from the owner.
Well, if he can but I would be happy finding it outside without bothering other people. He knows this place in Bolton street who sells computer programs at low price. When I got there, I did not see any stall selling it. I started asking and they told me that they are not really displaying those type of items. He just asked me what kind of program I was looking for. When he found out it's not available, he told me to go to Lachmi in San Pedro Street.
When I got there, I was delighted to see many programs selling at P100. There's Oracle, video editing tools, ink savers, anti-virus software, adobe photoshop, internet tools, encyclopedia, SPSS, medical books, encyclopedia, cliparts, accounting softwares and many more.
I didn't find exactly what I was looking for. But I found a similar software for video editing and it's called Cyberlink Power Director.
I installed it immediately when I got back to the office. After few clicks, I admit that it's way better than Windows Movie Maker. It comes with smart sounds and a lot of video effects and transitions.
I will formally begin with the movie.
WMM has limited features
I started organizing my thoughts on how to start doing the movie about "Surra or Trypanosomosis". This is for the information and education campaign for livestock farmers about this kind of animal disease.
I’m quite slow in making that movie and I need more time to familiarize with the program.
I’m not very much into creating or editing videos so anything that would turn out into a movie whether WMM or any other movie maker program that should be good. I appreciate the simple movie from WMM that someone showed to me. Although the program was easy to use, that’s just it; it’s so simple with not so many effects and transitions. Gusto kosana pasayawin yung kalabaw o tumambling man lang – wala e.
WKK - Walang Kakuwenta-Kuwenta ang WMM - Windows Movie Maker
I'm in the "still confused department".
It’s really a chore for me to be doing this movie.
Grumbling!!!

Windows Movie Maker
“Tomorrow is always the busiest day of the week”
I had the chance to open the Windows Movie Maker yesterday. I think it has friendly interface. You can use Windows Movie Maker to capture audio and video to your computer from a video camera, Web camera, or other video source, and then use the captured content in your movies. You can also import existing audio, video, or still pictures into Windows Movie Maker to use in the movies you create.
I experimented by importing just few pictures, importing audio and using some of the built in video effects and transitions. And then maybe, I will try to record my voice.
I say it’s got more impact to the audience than the boring PowerPoint. If you’re imparting the same information to different type of audiences, let’s say about a disease, a program or services that you offer—then I recommend creating a movie about it.I already think we will benefit from it at work even if I haven’t created a single movie yet. I hope I can download some free video effects, transitions and background sounds that I can use in my movie.
So, for the eager learners like me, “TODAY is the busiest day of the week”
Now, get to work!
