From diapers to underwears

I don't mind buying diapers until Abby is three-years old as long as she doesn't mess in our bed.I don't ever want to pressure her in giving up diapers.We bought this potty seat in March this year but never had enough patience to train her. Last Saturday, hubby felt motivated to train Abby in the toilet. He didn't use any tricks. The little girl obliged and went to the toilet after every one hour. He told Abby's yaya to follow the routine whether or not she can predict when the little girl will "wee-wee". So far, the yaya didn't engage in power struggle with Abby everytime there's a need to go to the toilet. And we're happy to notice that we need not buy diapers for this week. I just need to purchase more underwear for her.
