I had a chat with a friend in New Zealand the other day. He’s a former officemate and now working in a Dairy Farm in Central Otago, NZ. He appears to be happy with his decision of working outside the country. Wonderful! If I was single, no one can stop me. So my friend invited me to go there as tourist – right. I go and say – I will tell my husband because I’m gonna loan money from our savings. And hubby says “no way”. Of course, his sensible reason was “we go out as family”—and now is not the right time Change your mind so you’ll think nothing. I’m figuring out a way to win the battle but you know, I’m always like that- quick to have a plan. What I was thinking was travel, self-development, new friends, and career advancement. And my hubby, whatever that makes the family grow apart – does not interest him. I like the way he said that. And I haven’t told my friend about my decision. He told me that there are really lots of jobs if you ask for it. He will even help me daw to look for an employer once I’m in NZ.
But anyway, I attempted to express my interest online, (I knew the results would be far-fetched because it’s seasonal- hahahaha) I applied and I got a quick response. Here:
