I was introduced to Google earth when I started using a GIS mapping software. Had it installed in my desktop with full-feature access. You can freely download it from their official site. I have Google Earth 5 and what I like about this software is, I can explore to my friend’s addresses and where my relatives live. It is integrated with 3D environment so I can actually visualize what kind of neighborhood they reside. I can almost assume that I know the place while we are conversing about it. It also gives me an idea how long (distance and time) it would take me to go to a certain place from this place. It is very useful as it gives you the best route whether you’re riding a car, bus, train, subway or bicycling or walking. Finding addresses and zip works in US cities but not in the Philippines. This is how it looks.
